.Ian and I drove up to their "Bass Fest" and it was well worth the trip!! In addition to all the top brand tackle they have, they also had seminars from some of the top pro's. Thanks to Joe Sancho who talked about the mental aspect of fishing and fish positioning for the tidal fisherman. Also thanks to David Fritts who convinced me to make crank baits more of a staple in my tournament plan! The most impressive thing was these guys enjoy teaching us to be better fisherman! Also due to the smaller seminar area,it was more like a classroom as opposed to a auditorium setting. Another thing I learned is how much these guys are just like us and that was also refreshing to see!! I also have to thank their knowledgeable staff for helping with questions I had. And thanks to Bill McDermott for taking extra time to help me with my purchases!! This is definitely a trip I'll make next year!!!

Anybody get to or going to the outdoor show this year? If so how was it? I do miss the Bass expo, even though it was the same year after year. It was convenient however.

Belated post, but I just wanted to send a shout out to B&B Lures in Hanover, Pa. A few weeks ago I took advantage of their Winter Special and had all my primary bait casters cleaned. Their special was Jan 1 - March 31st reels were cleaned for $15/each and included respooling (if you want)with the bulk line of your choice.
