The boat ramps can be treacherous this time of year so here is a tip that can help us all. When pulling your trailer out of the water ( especially in the morning in the dark) let your trailer drain at the waters edge instead of racing up the ramp leaving a trail of water 50 feet up the ramp. This will only take a minute and keep most of the ice close to the water and possibly preventing a nasty fall or one of those boat ramp stories. Thanks and be safe!
