We all hate those annoying loops we get on spinning reels. If you don't see the loop when you make the next cast, what a mess. One way to help with this problem is to always remember to close the bail manually. Once you get used to this ( for me it took some time ) it becomes second nature. Now after I make a cast and close the bail manually I then check the drag by pulling out some line. This also helps keep the line tight to the spool , making your next cast less likely to have problems. Another benefit by closing the bail by hand is it allows you to see any loops and address them before they cause a problem. Good Luck.
