It might seem funny that a person who thinks that being in fifteen feet of water is "fishing-deep" wants to recommend a product to combat Barotrauma (over-inflated air bladder). However, maybe that makes this recommendation even better since I don't get much practice at this.

Fish clips help keep the fish upright in the livewell but they do not necessarily allow the fish to relieve the pressure in the air-bladder. While the fish may stay upright in your livewell, the fish is still experiencing stress from Barotrauma. "Fizzing" the bass returns equalibrium to the fish immediately with minimal consequences when properly done and eliminates a prolonged stress due to Barotrauma.
