With the days getting shorter, launching your boat in darkness is more likely . It is much easier for the guy backing down the ramp to see what he is doing without headlights blinding him. When I pull into the launching area behind someone, I will ask "Do you want my lights on or off" . Maybe they want the lights while preparing their boat to launch. When they are ready to launch I just leave on my running lights. This will save on launch time for everyone. Good Luck.
