With only a couple of weeks left in the 2012 boating season I started to remove all of the crank- baits that I have hanging in the carpet along the side of my boat to put them back into organized containers, and I noticed some of the hooks starting to rust. So if you store lures this way this would be a great time to remove them from your boat. I usually remove them after it rains, let them dry and after the carpet has dried, re-hang them. But during the winter the carpet can become damp, thus allowing rust to form. With the price of lures these days, you want to save every one. Good Luck.
You are right about the worms. Actually I have 7 crankbaits,I think Mr Seipp left some in my boat. One of these days I will use them and look out.
