Sure to revolutionize bass fishing.
If you have real deep pockets of green, you may want the Deep Blue.
Craig, if you are planning to buy the deep blue...
The current estimated selling price (less batteries) is approximately $23,578 dollars, without batteries. Not too bad for an 80 HP electric. The batteries? $36,680 to $73,350, at todays conversion price for Euros. The batteries are said to retain 80% of original capacity after 9 years of use. 80 HP would get those 20 foot Jon Boats flying! $100,000 (+ the cost of the boat) seems like a lot of money to be the first person to your favorite spot.http://www.torqeedo.com/uk/news-de/press-releases/484-torqeedo-launches-...
Thanks for the post Craig.
I think if all members pitch in we can buy one with a boat and then draw the morning of the tournament who gets to use it that day, I could store it at my house. I will move my wife's car out of the garage.
At 325 volts (and who knows how many amps) to run the Deep Blue, I'm sure I don't want to sit in an aluminum boat powered with that much juice. Certainly wouldn't fish on rainy days!
I get all tingly just thinking about it!
