Every year, during the winter "I think", read or watch fishing shows. Then, I write down or pick through fishing techniques, lures, or spots that I want to try or experiment with. Then I try these ideas on the water.. I usually make a huge list and then only have the opportunity to attempt a few of them each year. Sometimes results are very successful, and sometimes not.. But being successful at some make it all worth it.. In my opinion learning a new technique is a huge part of the fun in fishing.
My mom has been in the hospital for awhile now and after visiting her Yesterday/Sunday 3/24/13 - I decided to take a short afternoon outing for a few hours on Lake Marburg/Codorus. I decided to try a new technique with the little time I had on the water.. What I learned in a few hours on the lake yesterday now makes "so much sense" to me, I can't believe that I didn’t think of this many years ago…
The fish in the pic went 6lbs 5oz...I didnt have a camera with me, because i didnt really plan on fishing this day.... then I realized that the "Pa bass season" is closed from "April 13th to June 15th.." --- This gave me the opportunity to put the fish in the livewell and take it to the local tackle shop B&B LURES IN HANOVER, and then later release the fish 50yards from where i caught it. Im going to put my scale in the boat for the next trip... just in case... .
