Hats off to Susquehanna Tackle Co.

.Ian and I drove up to their "Bass Fest" and it was well worth the trip!! In addition to all the top brand tackle they have, they also had seminars from some of the top pro's. Thanks to Joe Sancho who talked about the mental aspect of fishing and fish positioning for the tidal fisherman. Also thanks to David Fritts who convinced me to make crank baits more of a staple in my tournament plan! The most impressive thing was these guys enjoy teaching us to be better fisherman! Also due to the smaller seminar area,it was more like a classroom as opposed to a auditorium setting. Another thing I learned is how much these guys are just like us and that was also refreshing to see!! I also have to thank their knowledgeable staff for helping with questions I had. And thanks to Bill McDermott for taking extra time to help me with my purchases!! This is definitely a trip I'll make next year!!!

Yeah, that was definitely a
Yeah, that was definitely a good time!I haven't washed my knee since BassPro David Fritts tapped me on my leg with his rod!(ewww)lolol
Yeah, Bob and I were in the front row just a couple feet from Fritts and I gotta tell you David Fritts is one cool dude. After Fritts' seminar, we all went outside and they had a casting competition with one of his Lews combos. The previous days record was like 72yds. I had the short Day 2 lead with like 68yds for a cast. As we were leaving some dude crushed everybody with well over an 80yd cast, UNBELIEVABLE!
Definitely thanks to Bill McDermott! It's always a pleasure to shoot the BS with Bill. Great guy! The whole Staff there at SFT was having a really good time and you could tell they were happy to be there.
Had a great time with you Bob, as always! Thanks for driving in those miserable conditions.
Let's plan for next years trip....
